Since Yahoo acquired Tumblr for $1.1B, I’ve decided to move my site back to my original home in WordPress. I am not going to wait for Yahoo engineers to screw up the existing service before I can export my database to my own server.

I’m currently working with Hostmonster to restore a few things, so bare with me as I work through migrating my blog. Just FYI, this will be my last post in tumblr. It’s been a fun year blogging with them, but it’s time to get a little personal again. I had followers before which sort of dampened, or censored, my thoughts. I was scared of criticism and judgement. Now that my site is self-hosted once again, I’ll be able to post on a higher frequency and completely uncensored. That could be a good OR bad thing, but who cares… this is my little corner of the internet :)

I’m not much of a designer (only a coder) so don’t expect any spectacular CSS/design from here. It’s just going to be simple. I’ll be bringing back some old pages I found in my Boy Meets Life blog so stay put and enjoy my new home!

ATV Fun

Allen and Ravi wanted a mini reset button for the weekend, so I suggested we do a daytrip to San Luis Obispo and ride some ATVs by the beach. Luckily, my friends were pretty flexible when it came planning this trip. Rahul, Ravi, Allen, and I drove down south for 3 hours and reached our destination – Grover Beach. Here’s a mini photoblog:

1. I call this “Asians taking pictures of Asian food…” haha

2. This went on this for 24 miles. It was HUGE. 3600 acres of nothing BUT sand dunes…

All in all, it was a really fun daytrip. Considering I haven’t seen these guys in over a month… it was definitely nice seeing some familiar faces.
